Published: 21 Apr 2024
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
Swap and domino organ transplantation represents a groundbreaking approach to address organ shortages by facilitating organ exchanges among incompatible donor-recipient pairs or utilizing organs from deceased donors to trigger multiple transplant chains. This paper explores the socio-cultural and political implications of swap and domino organ transplantation, transcending traditional boundaries and challenging existing norms in the field of organ donation and transplantation. Through a multidisciplinary lens, it examines the ethical considerations, legal frameworks, and societal attitudes surrounding swap and domino transplantation, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges inherent in this innovative approach. By fostering collaboration and cooperation across sociocultural and political divides, swap and domino transplantation offers a promising pathway to expand access to life-saving organ transplants and promote global health equity.

The article considers that the course of more than 5 decades as a result of the infiltration of contaminated waters of open pits, dumps, slag accumulators of the copper smelting plant (CSP), the production association (PА) "Ammophos", tailing dumps of copper concentrating factories (СCF -1 and СCF -2), as well as due to the leakage of reagents from the sulfuric acid shop through rocks that are not consistent in area and insignificant thickness of loess-like loams, and the penetration of polluting components into the aquifer occurs. Due to the action of the infiltration flow, a change in the chemical composition of soils occurs on solid soil particles, a number of chemical compounds are sorbed. The article provides recommendations for reducing the pollution of the geological environment.

Nigeria continues to grapple with alarmingly high under-five mortality rates, with approximately 2,300 children dying daily due to preventable and treatable diseases such as pneumonia, malaria, and diarrheal illnesses. This crisis is particularly pronounced in rural areas, where childhood mortality rates are significantly higher than in urban centres. For many rural communities, primary healthcare (PHC) centres serve as the sole access point to medical services, making these centres critical to addressing this public health challenge. Despite their importance, PHC centres often face significant challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, limited access to essential medications, and a shortage of adequately trained health personnel. This study aimed to implement and evaluate a Paediatric Emergency Management Training Program for healthcare workers at PHC centres in Zaria, Kaduna State. The primary objective was to assess the effectiveness of the training in improving the competency of health workers in managing common paediatric emergencies, thereby enhancing the overall quality of care provided at these centres. A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted involving 139...

PARTICIPATION OF KOREAN WOMEN IN POLITICAL LIFE

Laziza Alimova
The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research
Published: 01 Nov 2024
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The article examines the history of the formation of the study of the status of women in society, there is a lot of debate about the type of social system that is most conducive to the emancipation of women. The Western model of modernization implies that accelerated industrialization removes traditional restrictions for women and will change the traditional sexual division of labor, thereby contributing to the liberation of women. This is due to the fact that the results of modernization primarily affected men working in the public sphere, while women were limited to the domestic sphere.

Thus, the widespread subordination or submission of women, from this point of view, in capitalist societies is seen as a deviation from the proclaimed Western social norms of equality, freedom and justice. It is assumed that all problems of gender inequality in society can be solved within the framework of the Western system through the introduction of legal reforms and changing attitudes towards them. According to this point of view, it is assumed that women can be liberated by being integrated into the modernization process and the social and political sphere of capitalist structures.

Donor Hair Selection Methodology for A Natural Result in Capsule Extensions

Kateryna Yuzvyshena
The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research
Published: 01 Dec 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The article examines donor-hair selection for capsule extensions with the goal of reproducing native hair optics and biomechanics. Relevance follows from the industry’s shift away from bulky bonds toward micro- and nano-capsules that lower mechanical load and visual detectability, while patient expectations trend toward medical-grade planning. Novelty lies in translating quantitative thresholds from surgical trichology (shaft diameter classes, density ceilings, hair–skin contrast) into an extension-specific selection protocol and embedding these rules in the author’s InvisiCaps Method. The work synthesizes anatomical, physiological, and therapeutic literature; evaluates non-invasive diagnostic tools for pre-installation profiling; and considers materials science evidence for keratin systems. Special attention is given to caliber matching, shade/contrast control, capsule geometry zoning, and maintenance timing under concurrent therapies. The study goal is to define reproducible criteria for natural outcomes. Methods include comparative analysis, critical appraisal, and integrative synthesis across peer-reviewed sources and technical reports. Sources cover transplantation references,...
