MOTOR ACTION AND BRAIN PROCESSES: A NEUROSCIENTIFIC PERSPECTIVE

The rapid development of neuroscience has shown how numerous aspects of behaviour reflect the characteristics of the nervous system and how having experiences depends on the interaction between numerous brain functions. In 1996 Rizzolatti’s team published an article in the journal Brain entitled “": Action Recognition in the Premotor Cortex"”, in which they demonstrated the existence of a special class of cells, defined as “mirror neurons”. When we perform a movement, we program it based on the objective we have set for ourselves: we perform different gestures and movements based on the act we want to perform, for example, having a cup of tea or clearing the table. There is a close link between motility and thought and that is often reflected by the way our mind works. Mirror neuron activity is not affected by the presence of food or the character of the visual stimulus, but, rather, by acts performed by the experimenter involving and effector-object interaction.

An Efficient Deep Learning Framework for Real-Time Product Recommendation in E-Commerce

Anath Bandhu Chatterjee

Published: 30 May 2026
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
E-commerce platforms generate massive volumes of user-generated product reviews, making sentiment-aware recommendation systems essential for improving personalization and decision-making. This study aims to develop a high-performance real-time product recommendation framework by integrating sentiment analysis with deep learning techniques. The proposed method utilizes Amazon review data, which is preprocessed through feature extraction using TF-IDF, followed by class balancing using SMOTE. Accurate sentiment categorization in user evaluations is achieved by using a stacked LSTM-based DL model that captures contextual and sequential relationships. Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1-score, and AUC-ROC measures are used for model evaluation after training using Binary Cross-Entropy loss and the Adam optimizer. Based on the experimental findings, the suggested model regularly beats more conventional ML models like Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, and Naïve Bayes, as well as other DL methods like RNN and DeepFM, with an accuracy rate of 98.42%. This study primarily contributes by enhancing the relevance of recommendations in real-time via the merging of balanced learning and sentiment-d...

Eco-Trends in Wedding Floristry: Rustic Style in Ceremony Décor

Vladyslava Nahorna
The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research
Published: 30 Sep 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The purpose of this article is to determine the characteristic features and the practical application of the rustic style in wedding floristry design as an expression of eco-trends and to demonstrate its contribution to the formation of the modern culture of wedding rituals.

The research methods used in the article are: system analysis; observation and generalization; analysis and synthesis; expert assessment methods and the graphic method.

In this study it is determined that, considering the rustic style in wedding floristry, its key features and advantages should be noted, which are directly connected with popular eco-trends and with the contribution to the modern culture of celebration. The rustic style is distinguished by its naturalness, closeness to the environment, and the use of natural materials as the basis for décor. This includes the use of wood, field flowers, moss, branches, and other eco‑materials that create an atmosphere of coziness and harmony.

The advantages of such an approach consist in its environmental friendliness — it contributes to minimizing the impact on nature, and also allows the support of local floristic traditions. The rustic style does not requi...

SUBJECT: REVIEW METHODS OF DETECTING SUGAR IN A SAMPLE

Inas Hasan AL-Khafaj
The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research
Published: 01 Jan 2024
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The sugar is a simple type of carbohydrate and represents the main source of energy to power the biological and physical activities in the body. However, it has been reported that over weight gain, imperfect metabolic processes and heart diseases are mainly related to excess sugar intake, which causes diabetic complains. This has raised the demand of having reliable test methods for quantifying sugar amount in different samples to both monitor sugar levels and to study the biological effects of carbohydrates. This provides valuable information in various fields, including food science, biochemistry, and medicine. Several test methods have been applied to detect the presence of sugar in a biological sample. Conventional tests imply using special chemical reagents. Two well known tests are discussed briefly in this report, namely Molich’s and Fehling's tests. The chemical reagents, test procedures, precaution as well as advantages and limitations were comprehensively discussed. A comparison between the two tests has been thoroughly addressed.

Event-Driven API Integration between Delivery Aggregators and Restaurant CRMs

Published: 31 Oct 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The article discusses the event-driven API integration of delivery aggregators with restaurant CRM as a core foundation of digital transformation within the gastronomic sector. The purpose is to design and test empirically an end-to-end event loop comprising a cloud message bus, implemented in a Go/Node.js microservices architecture orchestrated by Kubernetes, and versioned using blockchain data to minimize latency and increase fault tolerance, such that each transaction becomes a stream of training signals. Topicality is justified in reference to the widening gap between customer expectations for immediacy and sequential REST call practices today. It becomes strategically indispensable to frame possible and envisaged latency reduction figures of 73.8% and a 284% throughput increase around an event model. The novelty of this work lies in the complex synergy of three layers: (1) a unified JavaScript/TypeScript stack that eliminates cognitive and serialization overhead; (2) serverless functions with autoscaling to zero, aligning the cost of infrastructure with actual peak traffic; (3) a layer-two blockchain that reduces the cost of an immutable ledger by 94% and makes events legally ...

Background: Family caregivers often face significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges when caring for surgical patients. Caregiver burden, a critical aspect of healthcare, is influenced by various patient-related factors, including age, functional capacity, and illness severity. This study examines the relationships between caregiver burden, assessed using the Zarit Burden Index (ZBI), and patient characteristics among surgical patients in Delta State, Nigeria, with a focus on practical implications for caregiving strategies.
Methodology: The study utilized a cross-sectional design involving caregivers of surgical patients at two hospitals in Delta State, Nigeria. Data were collected through interviewer-administered questionnaires. Caregiver burden was evaluated using the ZBI, functional status was measured with the Palliative Performance Scale (PPS), and illness severity was categorized as mild, moderate, or severe.
Results: Weak correlations were observed between caregiver burden and patient age (r = 0.218, p = 0.01) as well as functional status (r = -0.347, p = 0.01). However, illness severity showed a strong association with caregiver burden (p < 0.0001), with c...

This article examines the diverse functions of teacher-created rubrics in evaluating speaking abilities in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) schools. It underscores the benefits of rubrics in encouraging investments, clarity, and student involvement while also acknowledging the difficulties educators encounter in their applications. The subject matter here analyzes the impact of rubrics on decision-making in assessments, their role in professional growth, and their influence on task management, based on research and teacher opinions. It looks into what practical effects and benefits come from rubrics that balance theoretical potential with practical application. This encourages a more learner-centered approach to speaking assessment in EFL settings.

Wall control and blasting are two major activities that significantly impact the productivity and safety of open-pit mining operations. Although many monitoring equipment are used for improving slope stability, there is still a need for understanding slope behaviour during a blast. This paper describes a new technology called Blast Vision®, developed by Ground Probe, for monitoring the interaction between blasting and slope stability with a temporal resolution in the range of milliseconds. This technology represents an innovative departure from standard blast vibration sensors by measuring ground luminance changes on the ground surface through drone-based computer vision. Blast Vision application for slope stability, misfires and fly rocks is investigated in this publication.
