The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fundamentally transforming the educational landscape, requiring future computer science teachers to possess high levels of digital literacy and technological competence. This paper explores the technology and methodology of utilizing AI-powered digital platforms in the professional preparation of informatics educators. The research focuses on how these platforms—ranging from adaptive learning systems and automated grading tools to AI-driven content generators—can be effectively integrated into the teaching process. The study analyzes the current state of digital platform implementation in higher pedagogical education and identifies the specific skills future teachers need to master to facilitate AI-driven instruction. The proposed technology emphasizes a transition from traditional teaching methods to a more personalized, data-driven approach where AI acts as a co-facilitator. Key components of this technology include the selection of appropriate AI tools, the development of pedagogical scenarios for their use, and the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the classroom. The findings suggest that the structured use of digi...

Objective: This study evaluates the impact of maternal and infant mortality on healthcare system efficiency in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) using a directional Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model.

Method: The analysis incorporates desirable outputs, such as healthcare coverage, and undesirable outputs, specifically maternal and infant mortality rates, to assess the relative efficiency of 36 SSA countries over 12 years (2006–2017).

Findings: Findings reveal that healthcare expenditure significantly influences efficiency, accounting for over 50% of the variation in performance scores, followed by the availability of nurses and midwives. Countries with lower maternal and infant mortality rates consistently ranked higher in efficiency, highlighting the dual role of mortality as both an outcome and a determinant of health system performance. Sensitivity analysis further confirmed that strategic investments in workforce and financing yield substantial efficiency gains.

Conclusion: The study offers empirical evidence supporting the integration of mortality indicators into performance assessments and presents a robust methodological framework for evaluating health systems in resource-cons...

The purpose of this article is to define methodological approaches and the practical application of the rustic style as an example of practical eco-design in the modern world.

The research methods used in the article include: abstract- logical method; system analysis; observation and generalization; analysis and synthesis; expert evaluation methods; and graphical method.

This study identifies the fundamental concepts and structure of the rustic style. It examines how, in floristic art, the rustic decoration direction is expressed in compositions that use wildflowers (according to season), dried flowers and cereal grasses, tree branches, moss, bark, fabrics of natural fibers such as burlap, linen, ropes, and wooden elements. Key ecological principles embodied in the rustic style are defined, including the use of local resources; recycling and reuse;

simplicity and conscious consumption. The main principles and characteristics of decorating with natural materials are determined—use of seasonal and locally grown plants; emphasis on recycling and reusing items (e.g., glass jars, wooden boxes, bottles); rejection of synthetic plastic, floral foam, and glitter; décor that influences e...

Published: 22 Aug 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the influence of surface coatings and microtextures on the frictional characteristics and durability of clutch components in professional motorsport applications. The study is based on an interdisciplinary approach that integrates engineering tribology, materials science, and applied mechanics of high-load transmission systems. Particular attention is given to content and comparative analysis of both domestic and international sources describing the behavior of DLC coatings, PTFE-based composites, and iron-based laser claddings under various friction modes, thermal loads, and cyclic stresses. Critical differences between coatings are identified in terms of friction coefficient, wear volume, thermal stability, and adhesion strength to the substrate. Based on empirical data, a typology of coating applicability is proposed for different motorsport disciplines, ranging from circuit racing to rally and drag racing. Summary tables are presented to reflect the operational properties of coatings at temperatures up to 250 °C and under boundary lubrication conditions. The necessity of context-specific coating selection is substantiated, taking...

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) serves as a tool to estimate the potential impacts of a waste management system. Sleman Regency needs a scenario of waste management with a lower environmental impact. The present study aims to determine the potential impact of the existing business as usual (BAU) waste management practice in Sleman Regency and compare it with several alternatives to waste management strategies. The LCA method was applied following ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards. The impact was assessed using the CML-1A Baseline and ILCD 2011 Midpoint+ methods, along with data from the Ecoinvent database. In the BAU scenario, the impact values observed in every 1 ton of waste managed were Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 4.90E+03 kg CO2 eq, Acidification Potential (ADP) of 2.78E-03 kg SO2 eq, Eutrophication Potential (EP) of 4.92E-02 kg PO4-eq, Human Toxicity Potential (HTP) of 2.06E+01 kg 1.4 DB eq, and Land Use Potential (LUP) of 4.71E+01 kg C deficit. Processing waste into biomass pellets and Refuse Derived Fuel accompanied by waste reduction could decrease the GWP value to 34.04 kg CO2 eq, ADP to 2.96E-06 kg SO2 eq, EP to 7.33E-05 kg PO4-eq, HTP to 3.70E-04 kg 1.4 DB eq, and LUP ...

THE ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR

Wisam Jamal Hussein

Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The war between Russia and Ukraine had far-reaching consequences, particularly in the realms of politics and economics, on a worldwide scale. It caused prices to skyrocket in the financial sector, particularly in the energy markets. Military buildups on the Russian-Ukrainian border have exacerbated tensions, leading to increased costs. Before the military operation broke out, Russia cut off European gas supplies. In response, the Western bloc imposed severe economic sanctions on Russia, affecting most of its industries; it is crucial for European countries and hurt the world due to high inflation rates. The high prices and higher demand result from the low supply and associated lack of risk. One significant question that arises from studying the current state of the global economy is whether or not these high inflation rates will be a permanent problem. Quick economic remedies, including eliminating taxes and fees on production inputs and local industries, along with assistance for these sectors and the agricultural and commercial ones, are the key to answering this question. Because the issue of high inflation rates most impacts developing nations, these suggestions work better th...

This research investigates the formation of color associations through stable units formed with the participation of words expressing color. Language plays a significant role in shaping our perception of colors, and the formation of stable units—linguistic constructs involving color words—provides a framework for understanding how these associations are established and maintained. Through a combination of linguistic analysis and experimental methods, this study explores how stable units influence color perception, categorization, and conceptualization. By uncovering the cognitive mechanisms underlying the formation of color associations through stable linguistic units, this research contributes to our understanding of the intricate interplay between language and cognition.
