Orthopedic Implants: Reducing Revision Surgeries through SPC-Controlled Machining Tolerances

Aniruddha Dhole
The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research
Published: 29 Sep 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
Many people have been helped by orthopedic implants in recovering their ability to walk and reducing their discomfort. Still, many times, revision surgeries are required when there are minor inconsistencies in the design of the parts. The main purpose of this paper is to discuss how SPC, when used properly in machining orthopedic implants, may greatly decrease issues with consistency and, as a result, the number of basic surgeries that need revision. The study makes use of practical information from a high-precision medical device manufacturing environment to explain how key control charts, Cp/Cpk figures, and similar tools improve product accuracy and make it simpler to predict outcomes. It appears from the findings that using SPC improves the results for patients, saves costs in the long run, and boosts the quality of treatment in orthopedics. This paper bridges the gap between statistical manufacturing theory and its practical application to human health by proposing a scalable model for quality improvement in the medical device industry.

Published: 05 Jul 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
This study examines targeted degradation of the transcription factor MYB as a novel therapeutic avenue in acute myeloid leukemias. Its relevance stems from the limited efficacy of existing treatment regimens and the emergence of drug‐resistant disease forms. The work’s novelty lies in the integrated comparison of genetic models for MYB destabilization, chemical dTAG approaches, and the repurposing of low-molecular-weight compounds mebendazole and vitaferin A. Data are synthesized on MYB’s transformational properties critical for leukemic-clone maintenance, and experimental findings are reviewed on the suppression of transcriptional programs and induction of blast-cell death following complete factor elimination. Special attention is devoted to prospects for developing PROTAC degraders and molecular glues capable of catalyzing ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis of MYB at low compound doses. The research aims to construct a comprehensive assessment of the efficacy and safety of MYB-degradation strategies and to identify directions for further preclinical investigation. Methods include comparative analysis of peer-reviewed literature, critical appraisal of in vitro and in vivo data, and ...

Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The rapid expansion of Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), against the backdrop of territorially heterogeneous access to highly qualified coaches, makes the task of developing a scientifically verified methodology for autonomous training particularly significant. Within the present study, a comprehensive, validated system of independent training for a BJJ athlete is formed, aimed at the targeted optimization of specific physiological characteristics and the development of key psychological competencies under conditions of limited external supervision. The methodological basis includes a systematic review of academic literature, a comparison of block periodization protocols, and a content analysis of practices for the use of wearable technologies to objectify training load. The obtained results made it possible to construct an integrated model based on the logic of block periodization (accumulation, transmutation, and realization blocks) with an emphasis on the development of strength endurance and power; in particular, in the transmutation block it is advisable to use intensities on the order of 85–90%. It is demonstrated that psychological predictors of sports performance, including Persev...

Published: 24 Nov 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
The conducted study provides a comprehensive analysis of implementing vegan formulations in professional eyelash and eyebrow products in light of the updated requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) set forth by the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA). The aim is to evaluate the chemical stability, functional characteristics, and allergy profile of vegan substitutes for traditional ingredients and to determine pathways to align them with tightened safety standards. The methodological approach includes a systematic review of scientific publications, content analysis of FDA regulatory materials and manufacturers’ technical dossiers, as well as synthesis of data from industry reports. The work demonstrates that the shift to vegan formulas in eyelash extension adhesives, eyebrow dyes, and lamination compositions generally preserves key synthetic actives (in particular, cyanoacrylates and p-phenylenediamine derivatives), creating a vegan paradox in which marketing notions of naturalness and safety diverge from the actual chemical nature of the products. It is established that the main vegan alternative to p-phenylenediamine (PPD), toluene-2,5-di...
