In the Middle Ages, Central Asian pilgrims traveled to Mecca in three directions: the North direction ‒ through the Russian Empire, the central direction‒ through the territory of Persia, and the south direction ‒ along roads through India and the Arabian Sea. Therefore, the question of the directions of the Hajj was reflected in the diplomatic correspondence of the Central Asian khanates with Persia, India, the Russian and Ottoman empires тоо. Depending on the political, economic and ideological interests of these states, sometimes pilgrims were given permits to be sent to Mecca through their territories, and sometimes not. The degree of intensity of pilgrimage movements, in most cases, depended on the activities of interstate ambassadors. On the issue of eliminating various prohibitions and obstacles in the movements of pilgrimage roads, the Central Asian ambassadors were active and historical documents reveal these data to us. In this period the Central Asian ambassadors, who were sent to the reception of the governors those neighbor states on other issues, in most cases negotiated precisely on the direction of the Hajj of the Central Asian pilgrims also. The Concept Of Heart Tranquility And Stress Therapy In Neo-Educational Psychology

Janna Nazarova
The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research
Published: 01 Sep 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
This article examines the concept of heart tranquility within the framework of neo-educational psychology and its integration into modern stress-therapy approaches. The study highlights that in contemporary psychological education, emotional and spiritual balance is considered a central component of personal development and pedagogical effectiveness. Heart tranquility is interpreted as a multidimensional state combining emotional regulation, cognitive harmony, and moral awareness, which fosters resilience and creativity in educational contexts. The article analyzes how neo-educational psychology synthesizes humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and neuropsychological principles to develop methods that prevent emotional burnout and promote psychological well-being among educators and learners. Special attention is given to stress-therapy techniques–mindfulness, reflective dialogue, value-based motivation, and compassion training–which contribute to the restoration of inner peace and professional self-efficacy. The results underline that cultivating heart tranquility is not merely a therapeutic goal but an educational strategy that strengthens emotional intelligence, empathy, and sustain...

The Influence Of Depth Of Field On The Perception Of Detail In Still-Life Photography

Galstyan Lilit
The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Innovations and Research
Published: 01 Sep 2025
Article Info DOI Crossref
View Abstract
This article examines the influence of depth of field on the perception of detail in product photography of jewelry. The relevance of the study stems from the fact that in macro photography of jewelry, microscopic elements of facet cutting and polishing determine the value of the piece, while a shallow depth of field simultaneously represents a risk and a creative tool, since even a minimal focusing error can conceal important details; at the same time, the choice of an optimal focus zone directly affects viewer trust and the commercial success of the images. This work aims to establish a quantitative relationship between the width of the focus zone and the subjectively perceived level of detail, to determine the threshold depth of field at which an observer ceases to notice micro‑surface defects, and to develop recommendations for optimal shooting settings for catalog, advertising, and artistic photography of jewelry. The novelty of the research lies in the synthesis of optical depth‑of‑field calculations with data from macro calculators and diffraction theory, in the integration of psychophysiological results from eye‑tracking and the flicker paradigm with behavioral analyses of ...

Background: Diagnoses of Eustachian tube dysfunction in Benin City are typically made clinically or with tympanometry. The Eustachian Tube Dysfunction Questionnaire-7 (ETDQ-7) is a scoring system with potential as an alternative tool, particularly useful in resource-challenged settings. This novel tool may not have been previously investigated in this environment for its accuracy.
Objective: The study aimed to compare the diagnostic accuracy of the Eustachian Tube Dysfunction Questionnaire-7 (ETDQ-7) to tympanometry (used as the reference standard) in identifying adult patients with Eustachian tube dysfunction at the ENT clinic of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
Methodology: This was a hospital-based, prospective diagnostic accuracy study using a case-control design. A total of 150 study participants were recruited, including 75 case participants and 75 controls. The ETDQ-7 instrument was administered to all participants, followed by tympanometry for each. Data were analyzed using the IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (IBM SPSS) version 26.
Results: The diagnostic accuracy of the ETDQ-7 in the study group was found to be 68%, while in the control group, it ...
