Journal Overview

About This Journal

Learn more about the journal, its editorial focus and research coverage.

The SHARE journal was born as a medium of information, interaction and reflection for academicians which is projected as a vehicle to share scientific insights, services provided and learning experienced to the community. The SHARE journal is expected to be a "never-ending fire" that continues to encourage academicians in community service and service-learning activities in the community. Philosophically, journal "identity" can be interpreted as follows: 1. "SHARE" is an acronym for SHaring - Action - REflection which means "sharing, action and reflection". This means a continuous process. 2. The word "SHARE" itself means sharing. The SHARE journal focuses on material community service activities carried out by lecturers, practitioners and students, including articles on the results of community service outcomes from the Ministry of Research and Technology grant.
The SHARE journal was born as a medium of information, interaction and reflection for the academic community which is projected as a vehicle to share scientific insights, services provided and learning experienced to the community. The SHARE journal is expected to be an "unquenchable fire" that continues to encourage academics in community service and service-learning activities in the community. Philosophically, the SHARE journal's “identity” can be interpreted as follows:

1. “SHARE” is an acronym for SHaring – Action – REflection which means “sharing, action and reflection”. This means a continuous process.

2. The word “SHARE” itself means to share. This journal is not referred to as a communication medium because the words "information-interaction-reflection" are far more meaningful and includes the definition of "communication". As an "outreach community" journal, the SHARE Journal focuses on materials on the application of science and technology in society by lecturers, practitioners and students. While the scope of articles in the SHARE Journal is only limited to "outreach community" scientific articles (not scientific research articles), which are the outputs of community service activities from Kemdikbud grants/grants from institutions/companies/BUMN and grants from overseas institutions. In order to enrich scientific studies, learning variations and services for the community, the editors also receive articles from external partners who are also committed to developing service learning methods to carry out community service activities, both informative, interactive and reflective.
