PUSKAPSI Law Review is a reputable scholarly law journal that applies a double-blind peer review process and is published by the Center for Pancasila and Constitutional Studies (PUSKAPSI) Faculty of Law Universitas Jember. The journal focuses on the development of studies in Pancasila, constitutionalism, constitutional law, administrative law, legislation, legal politics, as well as public policy and governance.
PUSKAPSI Law Review provides an academic forum for examining developments in statutes, judicial decisions, and institutional practices, as well as for proposing constructive and well-reasoned legal and policy reforms originating from academics, legal practitioners, policy makers, and civil society. PUSKAPSI Law Review publishes original research articles, conceptual and theoretical papers, analyses of court decisions and legislation, policy reviews, and book reviews that offer insightful commentary on Indonesian law and comparative legal systems. The journal promotes interdisciplinary legal scholarship by situating legal analysis within its political, philosophical, social, and socio-legal contexts, particularly within the framework of Pancasila values and democratic constitutionalism.
The journal is committed to responding to the growing demand among scholars, legislators, legal practitioners, and public institutions for an independent and authoritative forum addressing contemporary legal and constitutional challenges in Indonesia and within a broader global context. A related objective of the journal is to provide systematic and critical reviews of major initiatives for the reform of law and legal practice. PUSKAPSI Law Review publishes manuscripts exclusively in English and is managed through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. In each issue, the journal may publish editorial or current commentary, research and review articles, case notes, and book reviews, subject to editorial policy and scholarly relevance.
