Scope
This journal focuses on advancing research in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice to improve medication use and support stronger health systems in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). It welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that address:
- Pharmaceutical innovations, including drug discovery, drug development, drug analytical methods, and drug delivery systems from local natural products and synthetic compounds, targeting both communicable and non-communicable diseases prevalent in LMICs.
- Pharmaceutical care emphasizes rational use, safety, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness with relevance for improving patient outcomes in diverse healthcare settings in LMICs. In each issue, there are articles conducted in LMICs. However, we also welcome articles from HICs (high-income countries).
