Middle Eastern Culture & Religion Issues (MECRI) is an open access peer reviewed research journal that is published by the Department of Intercultural Study, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. MECRI is providing a platform for the researchers, academicians, professionals, practitioners and students to impart and share knowledge in the form of high quality empirical and theoretical research papers, case studies, literature reviews and book reviews on social, politics, culture, literature, linguistics, and religions related to Middle East Studies. MECRI encourages scholars worldwide to submit their excellent articles on the scope afore-mentioned to contribute in the discourse of the fields.
Middle Eastern Culture & Religion Issues (MECRI) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Department of Intercultural Study, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. Middle Eastern Culture & Religion Issues (MECRI) emphasizes qualitative and quantitative field research, conceptual analysis, and literature review of Arabic literature, language, culture, and religion issues, using significant theories and approaches in scientific works. Material objects covered include Arabic poetry, prose, drama, oral tradition, philology, Arabic digital content, and Middle Eastern cultural issues. Scholars, researchers, and practitioners of Arabic Education and literature are invited to submit scholarly articles for publication in this journal. All submitted articles will be thoroughly reviewed by experts prior to acceptance for publication. It is the responsibility of each author to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of their published articles.
