Kalosara: Family Law Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of scholarship in the field of family law. Published twice a year (March and September) by the Islamic Family Law Study Program, Faculty of Sharia, IAIN Kendari, the journal serves as a forum for the dissemination of original research, theoretical analyses, and critical reviews.

The journal’s scope encompasses a wide range of topics related to family issues and family law, including but not limited to: Islamic family law, comparative family law, customary and statutory family law, contemporary legal reforms, and socio-legal perspectives on family matters. It welcomes interdisciplinary approaches that integrate legal, sociological, anthropological, and cultural dimensions of family studies.
Kalosara: Family Law Review focuses on in-depth scientific studies of conflict and family law, particularly the social, cultural, customary, and religious dynamics that shape family relationships. This journal serves as an academic platform for researchers, legal practitioners, and scholars to explore contemporary issues related to family conflicts, family and customary legal systems, as well as the impact of globalization on family institutions across Asian countries.

Kalosara: Family Law Review aims to present original research on current issues in the field of conflict and family law within the Asian region.
