Jurnal Tapis: Jurnal Aspirasi Politik Islam is a scientific publication of the Islamic Political Thought Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Sciences, UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Published twice a year in June and December, this journal reviews political issues, governance, and the dynamics of contemporary Islamic politics. In collaboration with the Association of Political Science Study Programs (APSIPOL). Tapis Journal accepts contributions in the form of scientific papers, literature reviews, and thought studies on the development of Islamic politics in Indonesia from practitioners, practitioners, and researchers. Manuscript selection is carried out through a double-blind peer-review system by reviewers from national and international academic institutions.
Jurnal Tapis: Jurnal Teropong Aspirasi Politik Islam is a peer-reviewed and open-access academic journal that publishes high-quality scientific works from researchers and academics both from within and outside the country. This journal is committed to promoting the development of theoretical and empirical research that not only enriches local and national academic discourse but also contributes to academic discussions at the Asian and global levels. Thus, Jurnal Tapis serves as a forum for dialogue between local knowledge and global discourse in the study of Islamic politics and fosters new perspectives that enrich theories, methodologies, and contemporary practices of Islamic political studies.

Focus:
This journal focuses on the study of Islamic political science, examining the dynamics of political systems, governance, and Islamic political thought through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches. Each published manuscript not only provides an in-depth analysis of local, regional, and national phenomena but also explicitly connects them with global discourses in the field of Islamic politics.

Scope:
Jurnal Tapis publishes scholarly articles on Islamic politics with an emphasis on Islamic perspectives. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

Political Systems and Governance: studies on political theories and practices, systems of governance, and democracy from an Islamic perspective.

Islamic Political Thought: the development of classical, modern, and contemporary Islamic political thought.

Comparative Islamic Political Thought: comparisons between Islamic political thought and other political traditions, both local and global.

Local Government: the dynamics of local politics, decentralization, and the relationship between local governments and society within the Islamic context.

Political Analysis: studies on political behavior, public policy, political parties, and strategic political issues from an Islamic perspective.

Islamic Political Movements: the dynamics, roles, and influences of Islamic political movements at local, national, and global levels.
