Jurnal Biologi Babasal focuses on research on research related to Biology and Biology Education. Research method approaches include: Quantitative, Qualitative, and Mix Method. Jurnal Biologi Babasal has the following objectives:

Providing a means of publishing Biology research and the Field of Biology Education.
Disseminate the results of new scientific research in the field of Biology and Biology Education to the public which can be applied as an alternative solution in the field of education and teaching.
Accelerate the transfer of knowledge from research results to practice. Therefore, this journal contains empirical articles and critical reviews using quantitative (mainstream) approaches, qualitative (alternative) approaches and other methods.

This journal accepts manuscripts in Indonesian and English covering biology, namely ecology, zoology, botany, microbiology, genetics, biotechnology, physiology, toxicology, local wisdom of flora and fauna, and also biology education, namely curriculum, learning media, biology learning materials , learning strategies, evaluation/assessment, and other studies related to Biology and Biology Education.
