Journal of Basic Education Research (JBER) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge, research, assessment, teaching, and learning in the field of basic education in both national and international contexts, particularly in developing countries. Journal of Basic Education Research (JBER) publishes empirical and conceptual research that contributes to the development of educational theory, policy, and practice in the foundational stages of education. Studies using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods approaches are welcome. This journal encompasses original research articles, including:
Early childhood, elementary, and basic education practices and theory across various cultures and education systems
Developmental studies related to cognitive, emotional, social, and moral aspects of children and adolescents in educational settings
