The journal welcomes empirical, theoretical, and review studies addressing teaching and learning in response to contemporary global educational challenges.

IJLREE emphasizes research grounded in authentic classroom and school contexts, integrating perspectives from child development, cognitive psychology, and the sociology of education to inform educational practice and policy.

The journal adopts a multidisciplinary approach, covering areas such as curriculum development, pedagogical practices, subject teaching (including science, mathematics, language, and social studies), literacy development, differentiated and inclusive education, multicultural and multilingual education, teacher education, educational technology and digital learning, environmental and physical education, arts education, special education, and education policy, including indigenous knowledge and local wisdom.
