IJLMST focuses on the field of Medical Laboratory including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunoserology, microbiology, parasitology, cyto-histotechnology, clinical toxicology and molecular biology.
The objectives of the journal are (1) providing practical information for medical workforce in medical laboratory; (2) providing a media for publication and communication amongst the researchers; (3) promoting research and development of innovative clinical analysis methodology; (4) publishing the research from undergraduate students, lecturers, researchers and other professionals.
To improve the quality of IJMLST journal management, we added editors from outside UNUSA. We added editors and reviewers from Malaysia on the 4th issue as a form of implementation of the Letter of Intent of the Faculty of Health of UNUSA with the Faculty of Medicine Health Sciences of Universiti Malaysia Sabah. We added Nurmila Sari from Laboratory of Molecular medicine, Pharmaceutical Department, University of Shizuoka, Japan as an editor. In terms of the website, we updated the OJS on May 31, 2020, from version 3.1.2.4 to version 3.2.0.3.
IJLMST has editorial policy and competent reviewers that will ensure the submitted manuscript conforms with IJLMST guideline, in order to publish good quality research paper. Therefore, the authors who will submit their manuscripts to IJLMST journal should have read the guideline properly and agreed to its content. The manuscript that does not meet the criteria will not be published by IJLMST.
Published since 2019, Indonesian Journal of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology (IJLMST) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) in cooperation with The Indonesian Association of Schools of Medical Laboratory Technology (IASMLT) and The Indonesian Assocation of Medical Laboratory Technologist (IAMLT). The journal’s main focus is on communicate high quality research articles. IJMLST publishes articles covering all aspects of basic, applied and development research. This journal aims to advance knowledge related to the use of medical laboratory technology and the development of medical laboratory-based methods. IJMLST is expected to be able to promote and encourage the discovery of new parameters, methods and technologies in diagnosing diseases worldwide.

The journal serves as a platform for exchange of knowledge by publishing original research that will contribute to current knowledge and encourage future research including, but not limited to, the following subjects:
