The Indonesian Journal of Community and Special Needs Education (IJCSNE) (ISSN e. 2775-9857 p. 2775-8400; accreditated SINTA 4 by DGHE (Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia) no 204/E/KPT/2022 on 03/10/2022) is an open access and peer-reviewed journal, published by Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, which is a dissemination medium for research result from scientists, engineers and educators in many fields of education, especially relating to community and special needs education. IJCSNE is a biannual journal issued on March and September. Each issue consists of 5-10 articles/reviews.
The editors welcome submissions of papers describing recent theoretical and experimental research related to: (1) Theoretical articles; (2) Empirical studies; (3) Practice-oriented papers; (4) Case studies; (5) Review of papers, books, and resources.
Indonesian Journal of Community and Special Needs Education (IJCSNE) promotes research in the broad field of SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION ONLY with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region.
Contributions are expected from senior researchers, educators, practitioners, project managers, research administrators, PhD students, stakeholders, and governments relating to leading innovations in special needs education.
The editorial contents and elements that comprise the journal include:

Review of papers, books, and resources.
As far as the criteria for evaluating and accepting submissions is concerned, a rigorous review process will be used. Submitted papers will, prior to the formal review, be screened so as to ensure their suitability and adequacy to the journal. In addition, an initial quality control will be performed, so as to ensure matters such as language, style of references, and others, comply with the journal´s style.
