El Hisbah : Journal of Islamic Economic Law (P-ISSN 2797-5819 and E-ISSN 2828-2981) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Department of Islamic Economic Law, Faculty of Sharia, UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan, Central Java, Indonesia. The journal publishes research articles, conceptual articles, and book reviews of Sharia Economic Law (Basic Study of Sharia Economic and Business Law, Contemporary Study of Sharia Economic and Business Law, Sharia Economic and Business Dispute Resolution). The articles of this journal are published bi-annually; May and November.
El Hisbah: Journal of Islamic Economic Law is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the dissemination of original research and critical studies in the field of Islamic economic law. Published biannually in May and November, the journal serves as a platform for scholarly engagement with contemporary legal and economic issues from an Islamic perspective.

The journal focuses primarily on the theoretical and practical dimensions of Islamic law as applied to the modern economic landscape. Areas of interest include Islamic finance and banking, Sharia-compliant digital markets, Islamic financial institutions, and Islamic philanthropy.

In addition, the journal welcomes contributions on the study and regulation of halal industries, including the development, certification, and global integration of halal products. These topics are explored to promote a contextualised and applied understanding of Islamic economic jurisprudence in both national and international settings.

El Hisbah invites submissions from academics, researchers, and practitioners worldwide. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure high academic standards, originality, and thematic relevance. Through a multidisciplinary and critical approach, the journal aims to make a significant contribution to the advancement of Islamic economic law and its role in addressing contemporary socio-economic challenges.
