About This Journal
Learn more about the journal, its editorial focus and research coverage.
As a distinctive feature, the Borneo Journal of Pharmacy prioritizes research articles conducted on the island of Borneo (consisting of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam) and those conducted by researchers from institutions on the island of Borneo. In every volume, there are always articles written by authors from the island of Borneo. However, articles from researchers outside the island of Borneo are also welcome.
Effective June 1st, 2025, or starting from Volume 8 Issue 3 2025, the Borneo Journal of Pharmacy exclusively focuses on publishing research from authors affiliated with institutions on the Borneo Islands (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam), and/or research predominantly conducted within the Borneo Island region. However, to continue promoting global scientific discourse while maintaining our core focus, we will consider manuscripts from authors outside the specified Borneo region only if the research involves a genuine and active collaboration with researchers affiliated with institutions on Borneo Island. This means the partnership should extend beyond joint authorship and involve substantive joint research efforts conducted by researchers from both parties. Evidence of such collaboration, including methodological contributions, data collection, or significant intellectual input from Borneo-based researchers, will be required.
