The Alauddin Scientific Journal of Nursing (ASJN) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Ners Professional Study Programme, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. Established in 2020, ASJN publishes biannually (May and October) and serves as a national and international platform for disseminating comprehensive nursing research.

ASJN emphasizes the advancement of nursing science through the publication of high-quality articles that report original research findings, systematic reviews, and case studies related to both clinical and community nursing. The journal aims to promote evidence-based practice, encourage innovation in nursing education and care, and foster scholarly discussions across diverse nursing disciplines.
ASJN is the official journal of the UIN Alauddin Makassar nurse profession study program which aims to accommodate the publication of scientific papers for all students of the UIN Alauddin Makassar nurse profession. This journal is also open to students and other researchers from outside of UIN Alauddin Makassar and focuses on problems and trends in the field of nursing and other cross-professional health problems.

The scope of ASJN covers various fields of nursing and health includin :
